Ritz Camera is the latest retailer to file Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection.  Papers were filed Sunday February 22, 2009.  The company states that the digital photography raise in popularity has been a big obstacle for them.  Ritz Camera also operates Boater's World retail stores which are taking a hit in the weak economy.

Chapter 11 is the 'reorganization' of a business that could work and the company emerges from it stronger...or doesn't and the company is forced to close (Linens n Things).

While the return policy hasn't changed due to the filing, you might want to ask prior to making any 'large' purchases at the chain.
