The Sephora Return Policy is considered the best return and exchange policy for purchases on cosmetics. This store has stand alone properties and can also be found at certain JCPenney department stores for more convenience.
When purchasing an item this store gives you a time limit of: 60 days to return the intended item.

Return or Exchanges

You can receive a full refund for Sephora.com purchases that are returned within 60 days. But, you’ll receive store credit for items returned within 61 to 90 days. You can also return gifts and receive an online store credit.
Sephora in-store purchases can be returned with a receipt. If you don’t have your receipt, and Sephora can’t verify your purchase, you’ll have to show a valid ID to receive store credit. Gifts can be returned for store credit.

Sephora.com Purchases

Sephora.com purchases can be easily returned for FREE (no return shipping or handling fees) to any of Sephora locations or by mail if you use our pre-paid return shipping label (follow the return procedures described below). They are unable to refund your original shipping charges, if applicable, unless the return was a result of our error.

Please allow two weeks for your return to be processed if sent by mail. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed. Your financial institution may take longer to reflect the transaction.

♦ When you return your purchase to Sephora.com by mail and we receive your item within 60 days of purchase, if you paid with a credit or debit card, you will receive a full refund to your credit or debit card for the purchase price of the item.

SEPHORA COVID-19 RETURN POLICY & Extended Holiday Return Period

For in-store and Sephora.com purchases made on or after Friday, October 30, 2020 through November 16, 2020 that are returned or exchanged on or before January 15, 2021, we offer an extended period for in-store exchanges, store credit in the form of a Sephora merchandise credit for returns made in-store, or online credit for returns made by mail initiated on Sephora.com. Merchandise credits can only be used at Sephora stores and not on Sephora.com. Online credits can be used at Sephora.com but are not valid for use in Sephora stores. Any purchases made after November 16, 2020 will follow our normal Return Policy guidelines.

Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with a Sephora purchase or gift for any reason, please review our return, refund, and exchange policies below for Sephora.com purchases and in-store purchases. Products must be returned in new or gently used condition. Sephora monitors return activity for abuse and reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges at Sephora and Sephora inside JCPenney in all instances. Beauty Insider points and spend associated with all refunds will be removed when the transaction is processed. All returns are subject to validation and approval at Sephora’s discretion.
