Kohl’s

Kohl’s is one of the best department stores that has a wide variety of items you are happy to purchase. But do you also know they have a true no hassle store return policy?

Nordstrom

The return policy for Nordstrom is that there is no return policy. You won’t find one posted at the cash register or on your receipt at this department store.  They basically stand behind our  the merchandise. They aim to please the customers. They are reasonable and will work with you, they understand logic.

It means no time limits, no receipt required and no paperwork. You get treated the same whether you have a gift receipt or purchase receipt.

And if you bought online from Nordstrom.com, the store provides you free return shipping, or you can take the item back to a local store. Now how’s that for a return policy with no return policy. This makes me really feel comfortable spending more money at this store without the hassle of sometimes not being sure an item may not be for more or I am having buyers remorse.

 

Zappos.com

Zappos is an online store sells shoes, and accessories with a higher standard customer service that makes things easy and returns with little hassle.

Customers have been able to order several items, try them on and ship back the ones that don’t work. As a result, the retailer is as famous for its return policy as it is for shoes.

“The return policy for Zappos.com is if you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund,” said Corey Schreiber, former content developer for Zappos Insights.

L.L.Bean

Awesome Company: Have confidence shopping with no time limits and no receipts needed.

If you buy online from L.L.Bean, you can return the merchandise to your local store, or you can send the item back using prepaid labels you can print from the site.

 

Costco

Membership club Costco is another retailer trying to make returns easy.

Shoppers are members who pay fees to join, so “we will refund in full at any time (if) a member is dissatisfied,” says Franz Lazarus, an executive vice president with Costco. Members generally get the refund in the same form they paid, while nonmembers would likely get cash or store gift cards, he says.

With consumer electronics, which tend to have a shelf life, there is a 90-day window to return, he says. “That’s the only exception.”

Target

If you paid via credit card, debit card, gift card or check, the store can track your purchase and refund the full amount without a receipt.

The store’s return window is 90 days for unopened, undamaged items with a receipt. A couple of exceptions: consumer electronics, which have a 30-day return window, and Target-brand items, which have a 365-day return window.

Target even offers shoppers a generous “gift” during holiday time. For holiday electronic purchases bought Nov. 1-Dec. 25, that 30-day clock doesn’t start until Dec. 26. That way shoppers “don’t have to hold off or wait” to buy.

Kohls COVID-19 RETURN POLICY

Returns
Kohls Return Policy allows for purchased items to be returned within 180 days of purchase and extends to all Kohl’s merchandise with the exception of premium electronics.

To further assist customers, Kohls will accept returns outside of the 180 day returns window for the first 30 days after our stores re-open.

If you’d like to make a Kohls.com return by mail, please follow these three steps:

1. Print. 
Log into your Kohls.com shopping account to reprint your order invoice.

2. Pack.
 Fill out the return form that was included in your package and place it, your order invoice, and the item you want to return in a sturdy box.

3. Ship. 
Send your package back to us. (Ask for a tracking number on higher priced returns.)

Q. I need to return an electronics item and your returns policy is only 30 days, how can I make my return?
To further assist our customers, we will accept returns outside of the 30 day returns window for electronics for the first 30 days after our stores re-open.
