Items returned with a receipt: items purchased are eligible for exchange or refund of the purchase price on the original method of payment. Some rules apply.  Orders purchased with Pay Pal will be refunded as a check to the customer’s billing address.

Items returned with a gift receipt: items purchased are eligible for exchange or refund at the gift receipt price in the form of a jcpenney gift card. Some rules apply.

Items returned without a receipt: items purchased are eligible for exchange or refund at the item’s lowest selling price within the last 45 days issued in the form of a merchandise return voucher. Some rules apply. Please see below.

You need to have a valid photo identification which is required for all non-receipted returns or exchanges.

 

Easy ways to return your order-

Return items to a JCPenney store: bring your order to one of the jcp stores. This is the quickest and easiest way to return merchandise and receive a refund or credit. To return furniture items, call customer care at 1.800.442.7902

Return items by mail: complete the “returns or exchange” form on the invoice and return it with the item. If you do not have the invoice, please enclose your name, address, phone number, and the approximate date of purchase with the item and mail it to the jcp.com facility nearest you.

JCPenney COVID-19 Return Policy

JCPenney offers a flexible return policy without time limits on most merchandise and salon products if you have your receipt. You can also send returns for online purchases via mail following the instructions listed on our website. Unfortunately, they are not able to provide prepaid labels for customers who choose to send returns via mail.

To ensure your safety, returned merchandise will be held in a designated area overnight (longer in some states based on mandates) before being put on the sales floor.
