1. Costco is a great place to make purchases and enjoy a great store return policy. The best thing about shopping at a big membership bulk discount store is they keep track of your spending history. Basically the only exception to this rule is on electronics. Electronics have a 90 day return policy. Although many internet posts have stated this store will take your timing in good faith if you are just a bit over the 90 day time limit.
2. Home Depot has one of the best policies for a return without a receipt. On their website it states:“Returns made without a valid sales receipt or an expired receipt may be exchanged or refunded to a Home Depot store credit or a Home Depot Commercial Account for the lowest advertised price.” So go ahead and purchase that barbeque, tool chest and refrigerator you have been seeking hassle-worry free.
3. Kohl’s 
   This department store retailer has a return policy that is very liberal. When shopping a Kohl’s you must not worry about returning items without a receipt. Kohl’s will still allow you to exchange the item, get a merchandise credit, or get a corporate refund.
4. Lowe’s Hardware
   According to the Lowe’s website, “In most instances, your receipt can be retrieved by using the original credit card, checking account number, MyLowe’s card or by your phone number.” Lowe’s also leaves the option open to only give store credit on returns without a receipt in case they are unable to retrieve said receipt.
