Returns & Exchanges

All merchandise—with the exception of furniture and other oversized items—may be returned at any time by mail or to their stores in the US and Canada. Furniture and other oversized items may be returned within 30 days of the date of delivery. Please refer to the Returning Furniture section below for more information.
Returning Online & Phone Orders
To return merchandise purchased by phone or on anthropologie.com, please use one of the following methods.
SmartLabel:
A pre–paid, pre–addressed SmartLabel is included on the front of your packing list. Affix the SmartLabel to your package, and be sure to remove or cover the original shipping label. No postage is required, however, a $5.95 shipping charge will be deducted from your refund.
This service is only available within the continental US. Furniture and other oversized items cannot be returned using a SmartLabel.
Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for processing. Additional processing delays may occur. You will receive an email notification when your return has been processed (be sure to check your spam folder).
USPS complimentary pickup:
The United States Postal Service will provide complimentary pickup of merchandise returns when you use the SmartLabel from the front of your packing list.
Schedule a pickup for the next delivery day.
Your postal carrier will pick up your package(s) when your regular mail is delivered.
Packages must be ready for shipment before your carrier arrives.
The maximum weight per package is 70 lbs.
Personal shipping method:
They recommend that you use your own trackable and insured shipping method. Please mail your return to the following address, or print a pre–addressed label here.

Anthropologie is not responsible for shipping fees or lost returns. Please obtain a tracking number for your records.
In a store:
Returns must be accompanied by an original packing list. Returns without a receipt you will need to show ID.
Returning Store Merchandise
They cannot process store–bought returns at their warehouse. Please return your items to the store where you made the purchase or the store closest to your home. For the sake of convenience, you may ship your return via certified mail to your store of choice; please be sure to include your original receipt. Mailing addresses can be found in our store locator.
A limited selection of parts may be available for replacement. For more information, please contact the furniture team by emailing furniture@anthropologie.com or calling 844.599.2557 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m ET, Monday through Saturday.
Refund Process
Most returns will process in approximately 2–3 weeks, depending on your method of return. Additional processing delays may occur.
A refund will then be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately two days after the processing date. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement.
Gift card purchases will be refunded in the form of another gift card.
Refunds for merchandise purchased more than a year ago that are not accompanied by a packing list will be refunded at their current selling price.
When making an exchange at one of their stores, please bring your original packing list and the items you wish to exchange in their original packaging to expedite the process.
