When it comes to returning shoes, look the bottom- if you can see little scrap marks, the return will not be accepted. If the item has ever been worn outside, you’ll get the scrap marks and they cannot be returned.

Returning shoes to a Kohl’s Store?

With an original receipt, you’ll get a refund or even exchange. If you paid with a check, you may get a Merchandise Credit, cash or a Corporate Refund. With a gift receipt, you’ll get an even exchange of a Merchandise Credit.
If you don’t have your receipt but paid with a Kohl’s Charge any other major credit card, or added your Yes2You Rewards account to the transaction, we can look up your purchase and give you a refund. Otherwise, you’ll get an even exchange or Merchandise Credit based on the lowest 13 week sale price.
We may ask for a valid ID, so please have one handy, just in case!

Returning by Mail?
We can’t accept returns by mail for items purchased in a store. Please return store purchases to the Customer Service Desk of any Kohl’s store.

Famous Footwear Return or Exchange

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return unworn merchandise at any Famous Footwear store, or mail it with the original sale receipt, within 60 days of purchase. Please note, defective or damaged merchandise can only be returned if it’s unworn. Exchanges are available in-store only.
